Excellent toy for years to comeNov 14, 2008 My boys have loved this toy from ages 1-3 years. It has held up well after two children, though the paint chipped on the pegs after only a few uses and the hammer is a little dented.
After my second son was born, we put the hammer away for safety reasons, but both boys enjoyed simply pushing the pegs through the holes and when we reintroduced the hammer, they really enjoyed using it with the pegs to "fix" other toys!
Poor choiceSep 23, 2008 I purchased this toy for my 2 year old granddaughter. She doesn't play with it because the pegs fall right out. They aren't tight enough to make for a very satisfying hammering experience.
This was fineAug 14, 2008 The holes are the right size, and it seems to be standing up to rough use.
Just like the one I had as a kid, but the pegs don't get stuck.Aug 04, 2008 Great product. High quality despite my son really pounding on it. Paint doesn't chip. Hammer solid.
pound a peg reviewJul 23, 2008 It took only one showing of how to hit the pegs with the hammer for my 13 month old to catch on. He loves to hit the pegs, pull them out and put them in, or just push it around. It is a toy that is played with daily.
